![]() SEB quitting when bluetooth earbuds were connected, and not always allowing students back in: Again, I didn't get any crash logs indicating this. For example in Moodle 3.9, the config file needs to downloaded in Safari and opened with SEB (which unfortunately is a bit complicated and students need to be instructed correctly). Maybe those who set up exams didn't know that. SEB for iOS currently has the limitation of not being able to open indirect seb(s) links on authenticated servers (same as SEB 2.4.1 for Windows). SEB not opening for seb: link on some devices: Unlikely that this happens on some devices with the same links. Some issues will likely be caused by wrong setup: Early next year SEB 3.0 will bring improved web compatibilty, stability and performance with the newer WebKit engine. If a school uses a web assessment system (do you know what they used?) with fancy web technologies or playing videos with bad encoding, some unusual crashes would be possible. But SEB for iOS is currently using the older WebKit 1 browser engine currently (because of limitations in the WebKit 2 engine). So there are definitely not regular crashes. And this while the installed base of SEB for iOS is growing rapidly. I'm getting the number of crashes and crash logs from all users which agreed to share diagnostics data with Apple and app developers every week, and the numbers for SEB 2.1.17 are constantly very low (5 times lower than with previous versions, which had one particularly common bug in the "Search Network" button on the Initial Configuration Assistant window, as probably many students tried to click that button). This sounds very unlikely to be a general SEB for iOS problem. Has anyone else experienced problems like these or is SEB normally working without problems on iPads? Are there known causes we should be aware off / settings to avoid / steps to take to get students back in SEB? I've never experienced - or been able to force - problems with the SEB app myself. The device blocking when the SEB Quit link was clicked at the end of the exam, forced device restart being required to unlock.Audio not working for 1/3 of the students. Some students being able to go back to Safari from where the seb: link was openend, other students saying seb suddenly closed - sounds as if it crashed.SEB quitting when bluetooth earbuds were connected, and not always allowing students back in.SEB not opening for seb: link on some devices. ![]() SEB worked wel for most students, but they reported too many students had problems to consider SEB going forward: The exam was started using a seb: link from Safari. I received a report from a school that used SEB for an exam yesterday with more than 300 students yesterday on iPads.
